ACE Law Barristers and Solicitors MD says life is all about learning, explored passion for cooking in the lockdown

Whilst lockdown has been difficult in many ways Lovedeep Arora, MD and Co-Founder  ACE Law Barristers and Solicitors was able to explore his passion for cooking whilst exploring different  culinary skills and types of cuisines.

“On the health front, I continued my yoga practice. During my time in Dubai (as they have come out of full lockdown) I have enjoyed learning to play golf, indoor cricket whilst continuing my yoga practice and exploring new cuisines,” he says.

Sport Spot

Regrettably, playing sports wasn’t possible for Arora whilst in Canada due to the restrictions. “Yet in Dubai, I have been taking golf lessons with a professional and have been fortunate enough to play golf with friends and family. Attending regular yoga classes with my partner,” he says.

Everything is about learning for Arora and there is so much cross over especially when it comes to teamwork in the sports and business world.

Lessons Learnt

“I am passionate about leadership and as in the world of both sports and business, communication is key to success. Like so many businesses I have had to change my approach to communication utilising social media platforms and channels like Zoom and YouTube to keep our communication channels open,” he says.

Arora thoroughly enjoyed his time in Dubai which has been a very big contrast to living in Canada. “Both my wife and I will initially visit friends and family in India and then we hope to explore the cultures and countries of Europe with Italy, France, and Spain being our top three destinations. Food, people, cultural diversity and the countries rich histories are key factors in our love of Europe,” he says.

Since he loves cooking and organising BBQs for friends and families, it is Arora’s love of childhood memories and his mom’s cooking that are close to his heart. “As such I love to cook both butter and tandoori chicken,” he says.
